Fans who can't get enough of Transformers have something to anticipate to this August. Transformers Fall of Cybertron is the latest game following Transformers War for Cybertron. Transformers Fall of Cybertron is a third person shooter which was developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision. It will soon be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Plot:

The story of Transformers Fall of Cybertron follows the previous game where the Autobots and the Depticons fights in a civil war over Cybertron. Transformers Fall of Cybertron has a much darker tone this time and the story takes us right in the midst of the final battle between the two warring groups ultimately resulting in the destruction of the Cybertron.

The characters available in the game are: Optimus Prime, Perceptor, Jazz, Grimlock, Bumblebee, Cliffhanger and a lot more from the Autobots..

The Decepticons will feature Shockwave, Megatron, Vortex, Bruticus and Starscream.

Gameplay:

Transformers Fall of Cybertron is played from a third person perspective. There are weapon upgrades that allow a weapon to be fired a lot faster than normal. Grimlock, who uses his sword and shield as his main weapon, collects rage as he fights opponents and can transform into a Dinosaur causing some serious damage. Each character will have different skills.

Bruticus is available to be used in a level where the players feel the most powerful. As the player progresses throughout the game, there will be multiple waves of enemies which will enable you upgrade your weapons. The game uses a regenerative system instead of the traditional health system. The online co-op campaign feature in the first game is no longer implemented on the game.

The game also marks the return of the "Escalation" horde type game-mode. The players have the ability to buy and upgrade their items. It also features a multiplayer mode where players are able to make their own Autobots & Decepticons from scratch with hundreds of pieces and various paint job options available. The four character classes available in the game are Titan, Destroyer, Scientist and Infiltrator.
